Training for Starting, Running & Growing Your Business
Are you a business owner or thinking about starting a small business and wondering what resources are available to help you succeed? The Northeastern California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Butte College, is the place to begin. The SBDC is committed to helping you achieve success in today’s competitive market.
The SBDC provides confidential technical assistance in all areas of small business management, at no charge. The center is staffed by professional consultants with expertise in all areas of small business management. Ongoing business management training is offered either free or at a nominal fee.
The SBDC maintains a reference library containing publications and disc on a variety of subjects designed to assist you in successfully starting and running your business.
The SBDC serves Butte, Glenn, and Tehama counties and has offices in Chico, Paradise, Oroville, Red Bluff and Orland.
The workshops listed in this calendar include topics ranging from the most basic pre-business to technical and management assistance that will help you understand your financials, market your business more effectively, develop management skills, sell to the government, or structure your business for profitable results.
For entrepeneurs just starting up, we have workshops to prepare you for the business world that lies ahead. These are the New Business Orientation workshops. These two-hour workshops are offered throughout the year in Butte, Glenn and Tehama Counties at a nominal fee. Please call for schedule.
